TS CPGET 2020 Notification | Application Form, Eligibility, Important Links : is a Common PG Entrance Tests notification conducted every year and a the detailed schedule will be released along with notification by Osmania University for conducting the CPGET Post Graduate Entrance Exams for 2020. Interested candidates who want to join in various PG Cources ( Post Graduation ) can visit the official website for applying.

OU Osmania University has issued the TS CPGET 2020, Common PG Entrance Tests notification on 29^th April 2020 and Online Applications are being invited from the candidates who have passed or appeared or appearing for the final year examination in the qualifying degree / Intermediate for entrance tests and admission into various P.G. Courses (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, etc.), P.G. Diploma Courses and 5 years Integrated Programmes (M.A., M.Sc., MBA) offered by Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Shatavahana and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities in their campus, constituent and affiliated colleges for the academic year 2020-2021.

TS CPGET 2020

CPGET 2020 is the only entrance test for admissions in seven universities for Various postgraduate (PG) and PG Diploma courses for admission to universities in the Telangana State. So, students can write a single test for the admission into various Universities ( Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Shatavahana and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities ) in Telangana for the academic year.

The government has taken the initiative of conducting admissions to seven universities in Telangana through Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET). From 2019 it is possible to secure a seat through a single entrance test. The CPGET 2020 management process began in 2019. This year, the management responsibility was entrusted to Osmania University.

In the Telangana state, various postgraduate courses, PG Diploma courses and five years integrated courses will be filled through CPGET in Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamur, Satavahana, JNTU colleges

Applications have begun online. Entrance exams are scheduled for July.

TS CPGET 2020 Educational Qualifications/ Eligibility for CPGET 2020

Candidates who have completed a degree with a single subject in open/distance mode of education are not eligible for P.G. Courses.
Candidates qualified in CPGET-2020 are eligible for admissions into Campus, Constituent and Affiliated Colleges of Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities.
B.Com candidates are not eligible for M.A. Economics
For M.A languages courses, Degrees like B.E., B. Tech., B. Pharm. etc are not eligible
The candidates with other than B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. qualification like B.E., B. Tech., B. Pharmacy, LLB (5 yrs), B.C.A., etc. must go through the eligibility conditions before applying to ensure their eligibility.
B.Pharm. / B.Sc.(MLT) / B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Home Science) / B.Tech. / B.E. Graduates are not eligible for M.Sc. Courses. However, B.E./B.Tech graduates are eligible for M.Sc. (GeoInformatics).
B.E., & B.Tech, etc; candidates are not eligible for M.Sc. Computer Science and M.Sc.Mathematics.
Notwithstanding anything contained in this Information Brochure, the rules and regulations that are in force in the University at the time of admissions shall be final and binding.
All disputes pertaining to CPGET-2020 shall fall within the court’s jurisdiction of Hyderabad only.

TS Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (TS CPGET): A state-level Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (CPGET) 2020 are being conducted by Osmania University for admissions into various P.G courses, PG Diploma courses and 5 years Integrated Programmes offered by Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities for the Academic year 2020-2021.

Candidates should note that the TS CPGET Hall Tickets and TS CPGET Rank Cards have to be downloaded from the websites. TS CPGET Schedules for exercising web-based options, certificate verification and other related information will be made available only through websites. No personal intimation in this regard will be sent to the candidates either by post or by mail.

TS CPGET 2020

The candidates have to attend for TS CPGET Certificate Verification in any designated centres. Admissions are conducted through a process of web-based counselling. The qualified candidates have to exercise options through the web in the order of their preference. The schedule for certificate verification will be announced after declaring the results.

Application Fee for CPGET 2020:

Candidates need to pay the fee while applying for the TS CPGET Notification 2020. Also, the payment can be made through Debit Card, Internet Banking Online.

TS CPGET 2020 Exam Pattern

Osmania University officials will conduct the TS CPGET 2020 Exam in online mode (computer-based mode). Based on the TS CPGET Exam Pattern, the total duration of the exam will be 1.5 hours. The number of questions that will be asked in the Exam will be 100 questions. TS CPGET Exam will be conducted for a total of 100 Marks. The Type of Questions that will be asked in the TS CPGET Exam is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
